Today I'm heading off to München for Oktoberfest 2005. I know it's going to be ridiculously crowded, but it still should be great fun. The beers cost more than ever this year (7 Euros per liter) but it's still not as bad as people make it out to be. That's about how much a liter of German beer costs at Marikka's. I've been cooking Rahmschnitzel, and I think mine is better than theirs too. Jean-Remis sliced some swiss cheese up and melted them inside toasted baguette brötchen.

There's a really great record shop in town here that has a mint condition Roxy Music debut album. I want it. Wouldn't be very practical though considering my turntable is back home. I did run into someone who is a huge Roxy Music-Bowie-Eno fan over here, which I wasn't expecting. He told me to check out Wire, I told him to check out Antony and the Johnsons.

It's been getting a little chilly here, so I'll have to purchase a coat soon.

Ah, Oktoberfest.

You should get the Roxy Music album anyway. You know you would feel better having it :).

Well today I bought the german language version of Peter Gabriel's third self titled album from 1980. Good stuff. Maybe I'll get around to the Roxy Music. :)
